Will PoC radio replace the DMR digital radio or VHF UHF Analog radio

At the very beginning when PoC radio launched, dealers and distributors were very excited. This technology will bring them not only profit but also a market share revolution.

After a period of learning and testing, some of them doubt that whether PoC radio will replace the role of DMR or Analog radio.

Some dealers or distributors thought that the PoC radio is a threat to DMR digital wakie talkie and Analog VHF/UHF radio. 

We do not think so. Different product development will cater for different user demands. PoC has some  functions which DMR does not have, but DMR and analog will  always be the best solution for those emergency applications which do not allow to rely on other infrastructure, like cellular network base station. What if earthquake happens when all radios are PoC radios?

This is one of the reason that Push-to-talk over Cellular two way radio can not replace the DMR or analog radio.
